Araceli Muñoz. PhD in Social Anthropology from the Rovira i Virgili University and BA in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She is a researcher at the Food Observatory – ODELA of the University of Barcelona and a member of Medical Anthropology Research Center of the Rovira i Virgili University. She mainly works on 3 fields:
1) Health and childhood (field in which she has developed her PhD thesis and in which she has participated in different projects in the Institute of Childhood and Urban World – CIIMU).
2) Health, risk and internal contamination (field in which she has worked as a technical researcher in the research project “Toxic Bodies: Sociocultural Etnoepidemiology of the Internal Contamination by PTS” and in which she currently participates in the project “Trust and responsibility in food consumption of pregnant and breastfeeding women in Spain”).
3) Support tools for qualitative research in social sciences (teaching courses about software tools for the analytical processing of qualitative data).
